2Accept builds merchant accounts from the ground up for businesses that need processing to work reliably, affordably, and without the arbitrary industry restrictions that define most payment processors. We handle the underwriting, the gateway configuration, the hardware deployment, and the ongoing account management — so you can focus on running your business.
2Accept activates fully operational merchant accounts within 48 hours of a completed application — for any legal business, in any industry, at any risk level.
Every major card network — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover — across all transaction environments. Card-present transactions (swiped, dipped, or tapped at a terminal), card-not-present transactions (keyed entry, online, or by phone), and contactless tap-to-pay including NFC-enabled digital wallets. Every transaction is routed through 2Accept's multi-bank acquiring infrastructure, which spans Wells Fargo, PNC, BMO Harris, Citizens Bank, The Bancorp Bank, and additional acquiring partners.
For merchants with high average ticket sizes, B2B customers, or recurring billing relationships, card processing is often not the most cost-efficient payment method. ACH (Automated Clearing House) and electronic check processing routes funds directly between bank accounts — at a fraction of the interchange cost of card transactions — and is well-suited to invoiced payments, subscription billing, and high-dollar commercial transactions.
2Accept provides ACH and eCheck processing as a standalone service or as a complement to card acceptance, giving merchants the flexibility to offer customers multiple ways to pay while managing their own processing costs.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap-enabled card transactions are now the default for a growing share of consumer payments. 2Accept terminals are NFC-capable out of the box, and every merchant account is configured to accept contactless methods without additional setup or software requirements.

Most independent payment processors work with a single acquiring bank. When that bank has a problem — a compliance review, a policy change, an industry restriction — every merchant on their portfolio feels it. 2Accept's structure as a registered ISO/MSP across multiple acquiring banks provides redundancy and stability that single-bank processors cannot offer. It also enables us to route high-risk merchant applications to the acquirer whose risk appetite matches your industry.

Stripe, Square, PayPal, and Clover all use automated underwriting systems that classify business types by MCC (Merchant Category Code) and either approve or decline applications based on industry category alone. Businesses in categories flagged as high-risk are declined automatically — often before a human ever reviews the application. Merchants who do get approved in borderline categories frequently find their accounts frozen or terminated without warning when a chargeback ratio edges up or a compliance flag is triggered.

2Accept's underwriting team reviews every application with human judgment, not just algorithm output. We work with businesses in categories that standard processors will not touch, matching each application to the acquiring bank in our network whose underwriting criteria align with that merchant's industry and risk profile.
Industries we actively underwrite and support include:
Merchants who have been terminated by a previous processor may be listed on the MATCH database (Member Alert to Control High-Risk Merchants), which effectively disqualifies them from most standard merchant accounts. 2Accept provides MATCH list assistance and access to payments attorneys who specialize in navigating the removal or remediation process. If a MATCH listing is preventing you from obtaining payment processing, this is one of the few places in the industry where genuine help is available.

Every 2Accept merchant account operates within a PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant framework. Our team provides guidance on Self-Assessment Questionnaire completion, flags configuration vulnerabilities, and connects merchants with compliance resources relevant to their industry and transaction environment.
